Leading the Way in Manufacturing Since 1973

Since 1973, Western Core has stood as the industry leader in stave core manufacturing. We craft our lumber core using domestically sourced materials in the United States, catering to the diverse needs of tabletops, desk & work surfaces, and shelving. Initially based in Susanville, California, our production facilities are now located in Weiser, Idaho. Our commitment extends to serving customers across the United States and Canada.

Elevating Standards

Elevating Standards

We use top-notch lumber and skilled craftsmanship to make our product stable, with fewer knots and even thickness, making it easier to work with. We're committed to excellence in the stave core construction process too. Our lumber is dried in a kiln to reach the right moisture level, meeting strict building standards. Plus, we use a high-quality waterproof glue that fits with the LEED rating system, making our products great for eco-friendly building projects. Everything we offer is cut precisely and ready to assemble, saving you time and money on labor.
